While he is a very hard worker who happily provides his time within the Lounge, he still prefers to have time to himself. The thought of being snatched away while the Lounge is at its busiest is more enjoyable than it should be---even if he and Rook did nothing at all together once they were alone. ]

It isn't a pleasant feeling to have his tail split in two, his gills close up... bones and organs shifting and changing into something smaller and more fragile. Not painful, but he has had plenty of experience with it now. Standing, however, he finds is almost as shaky as the first time he ever took to land. His muscles pleasantly sore in a way that foreshadows a more intense reminder once he bathes and settles into bed for the night.
On the plus side, Rook can take in the sight of this form at its barest---if he hasn't already, that is. ]
