If you were uninteresting to me I would have stopped speaking with you long ago. I certainly would not be having such casual conversation with you as I do now.

[ Their hobbies don't align, they have different preferences on technology, Jade's work ethic versus Idia's even differs... but there is something there to Jade, at least. A brilliant mind, a fascinating condition, a kindness that is so easily hidden by the rough edges that the Train gave him as well as Duplicity. In some ways, he's grateful Jamil and Azul left to give them this opportunity to get to know one another better. ]

If I were simply 'putting up' with you, I would lose patience with you so quickly that I would plot to dispose of you so thoroughly that you would no longer be a concern to me or my time. Hypothetically, of course.
