Yes. Swimming like this is much different than I am used to. We had a brief training on it back then, but I practice on my own in that lake on occasion...

[ His position shifts, this time bringing an arm behind his head to stretch it out with a slow, steady exhale. ]

It can be dangerous to forget one's self when swimming and going too deep... not allowing myself sufficient time to surface before these lungs demand to breathe again.

[ And remembering to 'hold' his breath, too. ]
